Kai-li's 6th and 7th week

11/20/2008 After two weeks of having coughs, sneezes and other "unmentionables" we took our first swim to the warm pool. Kai-Li LOVED it! She is my water kind of gal!

Kai-Li in her first bathing suit from Auntie Beth and her sisters of the heart, Emma and Lia. It is fun sharing clothes with one of FM's best friends ...Kai-Li's adopted "cousins"

Kai'Li lovin' the warm pool on a cold November day.

Kai-Li sportin' her new bathing suit from her sweet "cousins"

Kai'Li with her calendula cream that Shannon introduced her to to help with her dry skin. Boy, do I love all natural products for babies and does it smell so good and earthy.

Kai-Li in her first snow suit that she actually helped pick out at one of her favorite stores because of all the bright colors... Babies R' Us

This bib is from Auntie Nadin out in Cali...I love the little sayings. This one says "Worth the Wait" I was going to save this one for Haley but I could not resist since it was from Auntie Nadin. Thanks for the gift card! She loves Target and Target diapers! :)

She gets tons of get looks from "Twice as Nice" stores. This is one of cutie's that Auntie Abbie helped us pick out. Abbie has been so very supportive and her girls love Kai'Li too!

Finn kissing his "little sister". He is practicing for his little sister that is on count down to be here from Korea. Richard and I can not wait to meet her.

Best Friends adding another one to the bunch.

Sweet Lia with Kai-:i in one of the outfits that her mom and grandmom sent down for us. Thank you Debbie and Beth.

Kai-Li

Kai-li is now officially 7 weeks old and she fits in so well to are family. She will be with us for a while and we are excited to have her. We would keep her forever, if it is Gods will. He will determine our path. She had her first smile on command while I was talking to her the other day. She is very alert and staying up a lot longer. My best friend, Beth came down the other day and brought me a really cool wrap that her last child, Emma wore. Kai-Li absolutely loves it. She snuggles right in and goes with me everywhere. She loves sleeping in her feathers from her feather decka. We got to visit with our friends Jen and Lee, their son little Finn loves Kai-li and thinks that it is his little sister. He calls her little sisiter. His little sister is coming home in a few months. I have had a great time buying NB clothes. I found the cutest little dresses for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Kai-li does not mind stocings. She is now up to eating four ounces at a time. She is a slow eater but I do not mind. It gives me more time to snuggle with her. She loves her painting on the wall from her Uncle Theo that he bought while on deployment to Hong Kong. She stares at it during every diaper change. She does not mind her changing table because she gets to long at the picture of the Junk boats. It is AMAZING how she grows every day. She loves the music that Richard (we call him...FD, so if Kai-li is with us long enough she will call me FM and call him FD) plays with his guitar. The fact that Kai-Li loves music sings right to FD's heart. They also have date night during "Dancing with the Stars." He dances and sings to her. She loves movement and adores dancing with her FD. Our little family is just great!!! We are planning this weekend to volunteer for WaterFowl ( a big festival in our town). My mom and dad are coming in to help with the volunteering. We can not wait for Christmas this year. It is the first year wehre I want the Christmas tree up early. I am trying to convience Oma and Opa to allow us to put it up while they are over so they can help watch her but it is not going over so well. :) We see at the next post who actually will win out.

Shear Happiness! I am lovin' this girl!

My beautiful great Aunt Barbara enjoying the little one! She is so AMAZING with children.

We are so blessed to spend some of the most special days with this little girl. She is the closest little being that has seen God and knows his will. God has a plan for us, we just need to trust him.

One cute little baby holding another little baby. Little Caden cried when Richard had to feed Kai-Li.

Pumpkin Patch and Hand in Hand

I love doing Laundry lately!...and first weekend in October

Lately, I can not wait to do laundry... I recently enjoy the smell of clean laundry. I love folding and putting the little otufits together for the week. I can not wait to come home and look at her and see how much she has grown and the new things that Kai-li is learning. Richard and I are teaching her sign language. Richard already thinks she knows the sign for milk. She is watching his every move. They watched the Red Skins game today together . I told him that she was a Cowboys fan and he said that we could not have Cowboy fans living in this house. She enjoyed her first pumpkin patch. We just adore her and she had her first outing at the grocery store. What a pure JOY!

Kai-li can't wait to meet her Grammy and Grandpoppie on the Kimball/Slyder side of the family

Kai-Li can not wait to meet her Grandmommie and Grandpoppie on the Kimball/Slyder side of the family. We know that her Grandmommie will love dancing with her and teaching her some West Coast...:)

Introducing...our little girl that we are watching

This is a picture before Kai-li first bath on 9.27.08 at Oma and Opa's house. Kai-Li at the winery in Northern MD. My two loves snuggling on Day 7 at at home. This is one of my favorite pictures so far. Then Kai-li sporting the pink. Can you tell that I can not get enough pink in our lives! We are OVER THE MOON for this little girl.

My two favorite girls and a VERY happy Opa!

This is Kai-li first day home on Friday, 9.26.08. She had her first night dinner out with the Keswick family at Kystal Q. Her coming home weight was 5 pounds 11 oz. We are having so much fun with her.

This is Kai-li she has been living with us since she came home from the hospital. She is 8 days old today. We are head over the heels in love with her. We do not know how long she will be with us but we cherish and ADORE every moment she has blessed our lives.
