It is official...we lose our sweet little baby that we have been fostering. She will have a chance to live with her bio parents. We are excited for her. She has been our AMAZING LOVE over the past year and we hope that we can continue to be apart of her life. Last night was the third night that she has not slept in our home. I kept waking up to give her, her night time bottle, wondering why she had not cried to get it. I would go intoher room and check for her bottle, thinking that maybe Richard had gotten up with her, and check her bed and remember that she was not here. We will always be here for her and will miss her. Over the next couple of days during the transition, I hope to take lots of pictures and post. I will be packing her stuff and gettting together her pictures and stuff so they will go home with her. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. We would not change a single second or day of this past year. We have made new friends, bonded with people we would have never met. We take this time to say, "THANK YOU."

Happy Mother's Day!
Today Richard and I stop and thank Kai-Li's birth mom for giving her life. Although she may not be with us forever... Kai-Li's mom has given us 7 1/2 months of wonderful than never loving her at all and for that we are truly thankful. Happy Mother's Day to all of the mother's who have had loss, birth mothers, foster mothers, adoptive mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers for without you non of these lives would have been possible.
