It's Official... we lose our little sweet baby but are excited for the new adventures she will embark.

It is official...we lose our sweet little baby that we have been fostering. She will have a chance to live with her bio parents. We are excited for her. She has been our AMAZING LOVE over the past year and we hope that we can continue to be apart of her life. Last night was the third night that she has not slept in our home. I kept waking up to give her, her night time bottle, wondering why she had not cried to get it. I would go intoher room and check for her bottle, thinking that maybe Richard had gotten up with her, and check her bed and remember that she was not here. We will always be here for her and will miss her. Over the next couple of days during the transition, I hope to take lots of pictures and post. I will be packing her stuff and gettting together her pictures and stuff so they will go home with her. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers. We would not change a single second or day of this past year. We have made new friends, bonded with people we would have never met. We take this time to say, "THANK YOU."

'Mommy and Me' Swimming

This was our second day at 'Mommy and Me' swimming. Little Kai-Li loved it and she now has a little friend who is a month younger than her. She is learning how to blow bubbles, go under water and float on her back. The pictures are right before her first swimming lesson, of course this is one of her many swim suits from Auntie Beth, Little Lia and Emma.

Helping FM make brownies for FD!

Little Kai-Li is now 9 months old. She is 17 pounds and has a cute little bottom tooth, right in the front of her mouth. She is crawling. She is so little and adorable she looks like a little doll when she crawls. She has stolen both of our hearts. We have a laid back summer planned with visitation with her parents, 'Mommy and Me' swim lessons and kindermusic. She loves the water and all the little kids at the swimming pool want to hold her.

As for our China referral we are still waiting. They just refferred till March 20th so I predict we may be in the next couple of batches that come through.
Love to you all , thanks for your prayers and continued support.

Today Richard and I stop and thank Kai-Li's birth mom for giving her life. Although she may not be with us forever... Kai-Li's mom has given us 7 1/2 months of wonderful than never loving her at all and for that we are truly thankful. Happy Mother's Day to all of the mother's who have had loss, birth mothers, foster mothers, adoptive mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers for without you non of these lives would have been possible.
